= A, K, Q, J, 10 all of the same suit
Straight Flush
= 5 cards in sequence of the same suit with high card King or less
Four of a Kind
= All 4 cards of one rank - (A-s, A-h, A-c, A-d)
Full House
= 3 cards of one rank, 2 of another rank - (7, 7, 7, 9, 9)
Flush
= 5 cards of the same suit but not consecutive

A solid 5 card game with a long history. Players receive 5
cards in the following manner. A card is dealt face down to each
player in a clockwise direction followed by 1 card dealt up to each

time, each followed by a round of betting. Showdowns are not as
frequent as in other poker variants with many hands ending when a bidder
gets no calls.
5 card draw is not likely to be seen in a casino. The first
poker games some people played was draw poker. It was a favorite
for home games and private poker tables for a long time. Each
player is dealt 5 cards - all face down - one at a time in a continuous
clockwise deal until all players have their 5 cards. A betting
round usually takes place before the draw, then each player can "trade
in" 1 to 3 cards or none at all. A player who draws no cards is
said to have a "pat hand". House rules usually set the ante - the
ante being an agreed upon amount that is placed in the pot before any
cards are dealt. Also the maximum bet is usually agreed upon
before the game starts. A common house rule is to allow a player
to draw 4 cards if they have an Ace and are required to show the Ace
prior to the 4 card draw.

In 7 card stud players are dealt 2 cards face down, 4 face-up and the
7th face-down. They are dealt
one at a time in a clockwise direction. A round of betting follows
the first face-up card.

The final card is dealt face down to each hand. Each player
uses their best 5 cards to form their hand.
